No offense to "The Future". And I think we can do a better job coming up with a nickname for him than that btw. But how does Kenny Boynton not get the nod? He single handedly kept Florida in the game against us. I know he missed a bunch of 3's at the end of the game but Florida was down and NOONE else was contributing.
i don't think boynton had a very good game earlier in the week. which is probably why he didn't get it.
i'm loving jenkins. he brings energy to the crowd and the team. when he hits those shots and gets in a stride he starts hitting his chest to pump everyone up. a true freshman leader. if this kid is here four years we are going to be so dangerous. don't forget, this entire team is back next year barring transfers/injuries except beal. though we are really going to miss his skill of running the point, jenkins, walker, tinsley, and our new frosh at PG will all have their chance and can learn together. with this team still in tact with 3 new scholarship players we could be a real threat to be a top 10 team.
If Jenkins keeps it up, he'll quickly become "The Present"...you like any better Douglas James?
one vsl reader likes "john legend" which i'm opposed to on many levels. give it time.. names regarding the space time contiuum are boring. it will come out. stop forcing it.
i don't even care about jenkins' nick name. we have a guy named festus. isn't that enough?
Personally I think Big Fez is the best nickname of the entire group.
