Father vs. Son Game: MTSU Travels to Memorial Pitting O'Shea against O'Shea

VSLNation, I apologize for the weak mess preview you are about to read for tonight's Commodore/Blue Raider game. Last night was the O'Shea's 1 year anniversary and as much as I begged wifey to let me break it down, she was having none of it. I can't complain too much though, we did watch the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS after dinner via DVR. If it wasn't for my NFL RedZone not working on UVerse, it would have been perfect. But I digress.

Vanderbilt hosts the Blue Raiders tonight at Memorial tipping off at 8 central. Adam Sparks notes in today's Tennessean that both MTSU and the Commodores enter tonight's contest with 4 game winning streaks.

Vanderbilt's last non-conference game before opening up against Florida at Memorial this Saturday. Tape the Fiesta Bowl, watch the Commodores on Fox Sports Net, and join the open thread on VSL.

Happy Monday, we'll have more Decade in Review questions this week.

Jets 9-7, Falcons 9-7.

Falcons 1-0 vs. Jets. 3-1 vs. AFC East.

Mark Sanchez<Matt Ryan

But hey, everyone wins the playoff lottery every now and then. I mean the Birds did last year.

Talk about an extremely unnecessary post from Stanimal. Congrats Falcons fans on the back-to-back winning seasons, that's got to feel good. Hope you all enjoy the playoffs. Personally, I find it can be more enjoyable when my team is out. It allows you to dispassionately enjoy the games.

Me, I'll be sweating out a Jets game for at least another week. I just drank a fifth of Vodka, dare me to drive?
