Others Receiving Votes: 2009-10 Polls Released

Vanderbilt did not make it into the initial top 25, but did finish 30th with 38 votes (behind Maryland, Illinois, Siena, and UCLA) in the Coaches poll. Vanderbilt is also 30 in the AP with 90 votes behind (Maryland, Siena, Florida State, and Notre Dame). The Commodores will travel to Champaign December 8th to face the Illini, and might face Maryland in the Maui Invitational Finals. SEC bretheren Kentucky (ranked 5th), Tennessee (11th), and Mississippi State (19th) are ranked in this first poll. Ole Miss and South Carolina also received votes.
