At the conclusion of Monday's practice, Coach Johnson announced Terrance was academically ineligible according to David Boclair of the Nashville City Paper.
In the days to come, Vanderbilt fans have to ask how this was allowed to happen? Was his ineligibility a GPA issue or a credit hour issue? If it was a credit hour issue, how did someone in the academic support office not see this coming sooner? If it was a GPA issue, wouldn't that have been apparent sooner so Jeffers could have transferred sooner for his and the team's sake?
I don't know if we'll get answers to any of these questions, but as far as I am concerned, this is a setback not only to the team, but also to the athletic administration at Vanderbilt.
