Vandy Women Fall to Maryland
Vandy's women played their absolute hearts out, but they couldn't quite hold on as they fell to Maryland 78-74 in the Sweet 16, bringing an end to the SEC in all basketball contests this year. Marissa Coleman for the Terps dropped 40, which is absurd. Christina Wirth played great with 27, and Jennifer Risper had 15.

vandy just didnt have enough depth from the bench. when risper was off the floor for foul trouble, terps erased an 18point deficit.
