Its been slow in the Vandy news Department ever since the B-Ball season ended. But good news according to ESPN.com Vandy has received its first commitment from the 2010 class.
Florida Defensive End Thomas Ryan committed to the Commies over the weekend at their Junior Day. Currently he is unrated by both Rivals and ESPN (a 40 grade means they haven't reviewed his tape yet) but its real early and the guys at Vandysports.com think he will be around a 3 star type guy.
Its always big to get their first commit and this guy seems solid plus anytime we get a guy from Florida I'm pumped.
