As Douglas James points out, Vanderbilt doesn't have a bye, which means 12 straight weeks of football. A football season is a war of attrition, and this seems like a strange battle plan. While it's probably too late, I'd try and move the Army game to the last weekend in November (they currently don't have a game scheduled on 11/28), or try and find someone else willing to play on that date. Currently, Rice doesn't also have a date currently slated for the 28th, and that too could work. Other possibilities for the 28th: Memphis, Tennessee State, or MTSU (which I think is a game we should NEVER play by the way). This list is by no means exhaustive, but (if nothing else) a little fodder for the VSL faithful.
What say you?
