Liveblogging College Gameday

To be honest I wasn't sure what to expect, but suffice it to say we look GREAT on television. Peabody is packed and the Gameday guys appear to be loving the atmosphere. Lot of love early in the broadcast.

Will be on the lookout for clever signs...
______________

"Phil Fulmer Ate My Other Sign" is pretty funny.
______________

Not a fan of these "we're smarter than Auburn" themed signs.
______________

Whoever's standing up front with the "Auburn Grads Pump My Gas" needs to be slapped.
______________

"Moore Cowbell" is a nice touch.
______________

Again, I just can't get over these snotty signs about being smarter than Auburn and everyone else in the SEC. Where I'm from you prove that you're smarter by coming up with a killer sign to show on Gameday, not by being an ass.
______________

That being said, "The Geeks Shall Inherit the Turf" is excellent.
______________

I also like "No Hard Feelings Kirk -- U R Not In Our Top 25 Either". It assumes a lot of the viewer, i.e. that people know Kirk Herbstreit was the only AP voter not to vote us in the Top 25, but a nice touch nonetheless.
______________

"Tuberville Has Big Ears" -- hahaha
______________

Nice montage of Chris Nickson. Do all of our athletes sing?

Oh, another good sign: "We Got a Fever, and the Only Prescription is MOORE, D.J."
______________

HAHAHAHA -- Kenny Chesney picks Vanderbilt...Lee Corso pulls a bush-league stunt and picks Auburn while donning a UT jersey...The College Gameday broadcast fades out with the Vanderbilt faithful chanting "CORSO SUCKS, CORSO SUCKS"... It's a banner day in Nash Vegas.

Go Commies!
