VSL Hotline: Some Football Nuggets

The Man We Love to Hait double dips in today's Nashville City Paper on the current Quarterback controversy entering the season. According to Brett's reporting, the position is still "open for the taking."

Brett's second foray into Vanderbilt football shines a light on the "Young linebackers on the rise," the emergence of Gaston Miller, and the fact that season tickets have are selling nearly 25% of where they were this time last season.

Mo Patton's got an article in today's Tennessean noting this year's Secondary is Primary for the Commodores defense.

Finally, David Paschall notes in this morning's Chattanooga Times Free Press that Bobby Johnson is approaching a longevity milestone at Vanderbilt.

Also Vandy just signed another recruit. Zak Stacy, RB from Alabama. According to Rivals he is the first 3-star tailback we have signed since they started doing star rankings (which was in 02)
