As per Anonymous' request, we will have a preview of the UT game up tomorrow. The rigors of law school have already kicked in, but our intern has blocked off a few hours tomorrow for me to do a preview.

i saw UT play against western at the arena in nashville and i'm really not impressed. i KNOW ogilvy can have his way. just need shan and one other to have a good day and i think we come away with a W
Ogilvy can have his way or at least get to the free throw line (which seems to be his specialty), but to do that he has to get an ENTRY PASS. My head almost exploded after watching so many lazy and forced passes last week. I would guess that this was a focus of practice this week seeing as it was the cause of so many turnovers and transition points for UK. AJ and [Ross should be temporarily replaced by Darshawn in the starting lineup] also have to cowboy up on the boards, as JB said.

The intensity on D was there in the second half vs. the kitty-cats. Need it for 40 mins. and the O takes care of itself. Vandy by 12.
The key has to be defense. All season this has been the key, and it will never be more important than against our toughest opponent to date. We also need to hit 3's.
I guess I see the point re: the need for defense, but you have to recognize that we forced Kentucky into 23 turnovers and they only shot 30% from the field in overtime. The real keys have to be not allowing so many second-chance points and not turning the ball over ourselves (we almost equaled them with 22 TOs of our own).
I swear sometimes it looks like this team has played for so long without an inside presence that we've just flat forgotten how to make a decent entry pass.
