Monday Round-ball Round Up

Before I hit I-95, I wanted to point VSL nation to 2 encouraging developments heading into SEC play. First, the Commies are ranked #12 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. The AP poll has not been released yet, but my prediction is Vanderbilt could be ranked as high as 11 when the AP poll comes out. Continue checking the link above for that poll. Second, Joe Lunardi has updated his Bracketology; right now, Joe has Vanderbilt slotted as a 3 seed in the Phoenix Region (Tennessee is a 2 seed, Ole Miss is a 6, and Arkansas is a 10).

One final note: it is VSL Nation's sincerest hope that LSU puts a complete beat-down on Ohio State University tonight. Not only because it will further prove that the SEC is THE dominant conference in college football, but because every time the camera scrolls over to the EGG, we can take solace in his total despair. It's not like we're still bitter or anything...
