I am really starting to like this young Devil Rays team. This might not be the only season they finish ahead of the Yankees

Let's not get crazy Masonfan.

Not bad except that we didn't even make it to the super regional, even with two top 10 picks.

I'm not going to dignify that comment with a response in kind. Suffice it to say, "Stanimal, you are a hoser."

You can NOT tell me that you are not disappointed with the outcome even with two TOP 10 PROSPECTS. It isn't exactly every day that happens to ANY team.

So watch out for that hoser garbage, I'm glad they got drafted high, I just wish that we were still in the hunt.

No one reading this, with rare exception perhaps, doesn't wish that we were still playing. My only point is, don't be a hoser and ruin this moment for Vanderbilt baseball fans with your negativity. "Your g-ddamn negativity! I don't need it! I'm an idea man. I thrive on enthusiasm. Don't take the wind out of my sails."

The Devil Rays actually has great core group of young players right now...I'm not joking.

Between Baldelli, Crawford, Upton and Young, they've got some very, very good young players.

Elijah Dukes...I'm not really going to get into him. But I think he and D. Young have probably had some interesting conversations int he dugout this year about controlling their violent impulses.

The problem with actually watching the baseball draft is that you won't see any of these guys for at least two years (rarely less). That in my mind kills the excitement unless you have players from a college team that you like, such as us.

I COULD get excited about the Braves getting the #9 prospect in this class according to BA (Jason Heyward) at 14, but so many so-called great players turn out being busts. I'd rather keep my excitement to a minimum.

The Mets have no draft picks in the first 48 picks or something like.......weak

The question becomes... how long until De La Osa's off the board...

The Devil Rays could very well pull off a Marlin type run in the next couple of years and I am dead serious about that.

Not hating on Vandy, but I've been following this team along with you guys all season and I can't help but fell disappointed they aren't still in the hunt - I know what you mean Stan. Anyway with the MLB draft behind us, the season comes to a close. Can we start talking about what's going to happen on Sunday with Tony and the gang? My guess, AJ, Carm or Meadow gets killed or a close call, forcing Tony to become a rat.
