WHAT A DAY, WHAT A GREAT DAY

This game had it all. When Vanderbilt went down 3 in the 10th, I have to admit I was nervous, but the boys in black pulled it out. The fact that Weathers threw 3.2 innings isn't awesome, but Vanderbilt had to fight to get to the championship game...and they are there. Arkansas is well rested, and playing great baseball. But Tim Corbin's guys have their swagger back after the UT loss. 4 EDT Vanderbilt/Arkansas tomorrow. Boyer in the District on one side, the rest of Commodore Nation on the other. Should be a classic. Check back for updates on VSL.

How sweet it is for Shea Robin - after keying the tying rally in the bottom of the 9th inning, then with an easy-out rundown after a blown Ole Miss squeeze bunt in top 10, the guy chucks it into left field and allows two runs to score. Redeems himself with a walk-off, two-run single in the bottom of the 10th to send Vandy to the SEC championship.

How can you not love this team?

Quote from Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco in today's Commercial Appeal: "That's a special baseball team out there."
