I am stoked College Radio is back in the house.

I don't know who my Hoser of the Week is going to be, I just wanted to welcome College Radio back.

And remember VSL readers, if more than 15 people have heard of a band there is no way they are any good.

St. Louis Media...After the team loses their 2nd pitcher in 2 years they have to make the guy look like a worthless drunk. This coming from the town that invented budweiser

Completely disagree.....if the guy died in a regular car accident fine....but if it turns out he was driving dwi then why should he be honored? Too many athletes and people think it is ok to drive drunk and people should be morned but not celebrated for doing this stupid act.

That being said Hoser honors should go to the people who run boxing....doing their best to ruin a sport by hiding it on ppv and forcing it into irrelevence by having 50 different titles for each division. It this fight was on NBC/ABC/CBS or even basic cable every bar in the country would have it on. Instead i doubt more than a handful of us reading this will even watch the fight.....

You know something, I'm gonna agree with Doug here. Boxing used to be one of the most well-followed, well-respected sports in the world. The fact that it has degenerated into such anonymity is really a shame. Aside from a brief little glint on ESPN every now and then and the TV show that goes "Behind the Scenes" with the two fighters, there has been very little publicity about a fight which should be phenomenal. Floyd Mayweather is an absolute animal, he's 37-0, and De La Hoya is one of the greatest of all time. But nobody cares because of precedent. Too many shoddy fights set up, the fact that there are 3 (4 maybe?) Boxing organizations, each with their own class champions, the fact that you can't watch the fight without paying 20-50 bucks for it (I have no idea, but I'm assuming in that range), and the overall disgust and corruption that is associated with Don King. The "sweet science" is now pretty sour.

That being said, whoever is running the show in the world of boxing, you are a total hoser.

I'm going to throw Keyshawn Johnson into the mix. "This is a great pick. We need another wide receiver," Johnson gushed while working as a draft analyst for ESPN. "This guy is much like me. I'm going to teach him how to play from the point of attack." Two days later....he's unemployed.

To further back my Keyshawn nomination....wasn't it Keyshawn that publicly stated Dwayne wasn't ready for the draft?

Britney Spears -- for making people pay $150 for a 15-minute comeback concert she lip-synced her way through. Poor form Britney. Poor form.
