Vanderbilt Hotline: Mini-edition

There really isn't much out there in the world of Vanderbilt sports. We have a great discussion about the Northwestern/Vanderbilt Football petition that you should get in on. So far, we have 5 signatures, so we could certainly be doing better. Brett Hait has a piece about the Vanderbilt football's offense in today's Nashville City Paper. This is part one of two in a series. Scout.com has a great preview about Vanderbilt's football team that is definitely worth checking out. I think the article makes a number of very good points. Lunardi has his first Bracketology for next season up, while the SEC gets some love with 7 teams, Vanderbilt is not one of them. Finally, CSTV.com has a feel-good feature on walk-on David Rodriguez.

Hoser of the Week is back today. And we are hoping to hear from the Big Guy soon.

Get involved in the Northwestern discussion, anyone reading this is bound to have an opinion.

Finally, American Idol is back tonight. They are down to the elite eight, and much like Joe Lunardi, I have a very uninformed prediction. Chris, Phil, and Haley will be in the bottom 3.

So when, if ever, will Sanjaya get the boot? Predictions?

I say he makes the final 4.

Also, any chance we can get a "Black Sabbath" theme night on Idol? Where's the petition letter for THAT?
