Listen...we got smoked last night, but there is absolutely no reason for the blog to be this quiet. Sound off on Stallings, this week's Hoser, why I am a moron for guaranteeing victory for a game at the half when we were down 18. SOMETHING.
Yes, it was embarrassing. Yes, it is eerie that the final score was the same as our upset against Florida. But if there is one thing a Vandy fan should never do is guarantee victory.
P.S. My co-worker who is a Gator fan is laughing at me now.
If we don't reach double digits wins in a down year for the SEC it will be very disappointing. Vandy missed an opportunity to make a huge statement and push ourselves into a 3 or 4 seed in the tourney. We better beat the f*cken Kats this weekend or i'm gonna be furious.
Actually, you know what, I want to take this time to really rant.
2006-2007 has been the biggest sports roller coaster of my life. I honestly cannot think of a time in my life where hope was lifted so highly on so many occasions only to be chunked down and trampled. As most of you know, I support the Falcons, Braves, and Dores (for the sake of this blog, we won't even discuss the other team I support). But despite said teams blunderous season, I have to say that the Braves and Falcons gave me a tremendous amount of heartache. The Braves basically end their season in June by going a horrendous 9-23 and with the basic transfer from one pathetic ownership to another I don't REALLY believe that it will get much better, if at all. The Falcons have a quarterback who tries to smuggle an illegal substance on a plane in a container that is also illegal, and then basically REPEAT the season before by starting out 6-2, then blow 7 of their last 8 games to finish an atrocious 7-9.
Basically, this is my last chance at avoiding the 0-fer on the year with my teams. If Vanderbilt doesn't finish the season strong and we end up losing a good seed in the Tournament, or "if I have to listen to this Michael McDonald DVD that you've been playing for two years straight I'm going to kill everyone in the store and put a bullet in my brain!"

Tell your co-worked to ask his "team" to stop throwing punches at fans.

Mississippi State is a good team. But we REALLY could have used that win. I love Derrick Byars, but honestly, seven points big man?

whew I feel better now.
"If I hear Yah Mo B There one more time I'm gonna Yah Mo burn this place to the ground."
I feel your pain Stanimal being a Boston fan (1. Giving St. Louis fans a Championship; 2. Letting Peyton Manning win one).
Hopefully Bob Costas will make us proud.
