The Larry Smith Story

I don't want to speak too soon, but ladies and gentlemen of Commodore Nation, it looks like the future of the quarterback position is bright. Larry Smith of Prattville, AL has not received an offer from Alabama, and he's not interested in playing second-fiddle at Louisville. The 6'2", 200-lb. QB with 4.6 speed looks likely to sign his LOI to Vandy in the next few hours. Just to whet your appetite, here's a look at Mr. Football's senior stats:

Passing: 181-of-296, 2,468 yards, 22 TD, 2 INT
Rushing: 118 carries, 648 yards, 5 TD
Team record: 15-0, state champions.
Honors: MVP 6A state championship game, Mr. Football of Alabama

Oh and by the way, his GPA his junior year was 3.8. That's just not fair.

Pretty pumped. I thought Saban might come in a steal him. Hopefully we can get some play makers around. Also looks like we have our next crop of Stud LB's. Chris Marve is the athlete and John Stokes is freaken huge!
