Vandy #24 in AP Poll

Although we didn't get too much love in the ESPN/USA Today, the AP voters put Vanderbilt in the Top 25, ahead of Clemson and just behind Stanford. This will certainly make the Florida game on Wednesday a matchup of broader intrigue. More importantly, it validates the way our boys have come together over the past few weeks in winning some big conference games, and it provides a level of national exposure that our program has been sorely lacking of late. That kind of exposure can translate into better recruiting down the road.

I hope the guys get excited about it, but they (and we) have got to remember that what really matters is March, and we've still got a tough nine games to go before we're there.

Anyone game for a trip to Gainesville?

I might not be driving to Gainesville, but I'll be there when the Gators head to Memorial on the 17th.

Although the Commies may not be in Nashville, the good doctor and myself will be, so that should be reason enough to road trip it.
