Recruiting Update

Stanimal here with a brief recruiting update. Thanks goes out to O'Shea for IDing these committments.

Over the weekend Vanderbilt picked up two commitments, one from TE Tim Fugger from Lombard, IL and three-star OL prospect Kyle Fischer from Columbia, SC.

Fischer considered Kentucky, Maryland, Louisville, Cincinnati, NC State, South Carolina, and East Carolina before committing to Vandy. He is one of the top OL prospects in South Carolina.

Fischer is a well-sized prospect and has a lot of the tangibles needed to be a great college offensive lineman. Sometimes he stops his feet at the point of contact rather than driving through, but that can be changed in time. He could blossom into a huge playmaker on the line for us.

Tim Fugger is a two-star TE prospect, 6-4 220 with a 4.59 forty who was considering Vandy, Illinois, Northwestern, Akron, and Northern Illinois. Chances are that he will end up playing half-back for the Dores as opposed to TE. We shall see as the time approaches.

Congratulations to the newest reps of the black and gold.

(In the future I will upload pictures of the recruits. Unfortunately the blog isn't letting me upload anything right now).
