This has got to have Tressel and Gee freaked out now. Tressel gained a competitive advantage by planning guys that should have been suspended; much worse than what Pearl did. Wonder where Pearl will end up? Wonder if Hamilton gets fired too?
Coaches have done alot worse then what Pearl did. Had he not lied about, nothing really would have happened.
I'm a fan of SEC basketball and the loss of Pearl will be a major blow to the conference.
Cheating lying UT - Pearl will end up on his feet. This was inevitable from day 1.
Perhaps the best fallout from this - Tobias Harris more likely to declare for the draft.
UT will probably finish last in SEC East next year with Harris declaring and their recruiting class decimated.
It makes me smile.
Not to mention there is no reason we shouldn't tighten our grip on recruiting in Middle and East Tennessee. I know this "hurts" SEC basketball for now, but I can assure you that there will be some team that becomes a comparable squad. I'm hoping that squad is us. Let Georgia or South Carolina be what we've been for the past couple of years.
