Great video, Bobby. More of this please (and all the other great content available only at VSL).

Go Dores!

Man I really like CJF. I really hope he is as good with X's and O's as he is in front of a camera.

Best movie I've seen all year.

does anyone know where ideas for videos like this come from? I'm no PR expert but if this is CFJ's doing i think we got an incredibly savvy guy that understands how modern college football works.

It seems like VU has stepped in up in the viral marketing. They also put up good videos for Stallings and co. too.

I really like this guys. Hes energetic and I can see why recruits like him. Go DORES!

And a couple of you people wanted to keep S O V coaching for two or three more years. What the hell were some of you thinking. The last new coaching staff to generate the kind of excitement and optimism that CJF and his staff are, was Steve Sloan and he was the only coach to leave with a winning record in the last 50 years. Again, I have to scratch my head and wonder what the hell were people thinking that wanted to keep the CBJ left-overs???????????

In fairness, very few people on the site have said they wanted to keep the old regime. Rather, they thought VU should hire a coach other than CJF. Obviously, I'm staunchly in the pro-Franklin camp (to give you an idea of how committed to Vanderbilt he is, he attended a 10am NCC meeting with donors last Saturday that I was at), but it's a straw-man to say the disagreement on the site as between those who wanted CJF and those who wanted CRC and the old regime.

I was one of those not thrilled with the CJF hire, but I have always been willing to give him a chance, and I must say he continues to impress me every day and continues to get me more and more excited about the future of VU football. I was one of those who said I wasn't going to go to football games after last year, but with what I've seen from CJF and his staff I've already rejoined the NCC and will be purchasing season tickets for football yet again

Anonymous 11:30,

That's awesome. Thanks for rejoining the NCC (and hopefully putting VSL in the special comments section, hint, hint). There is reason to be excited. As far as I'm concerned, CJF and staff have passed every off-season test that's been thrown at them. The next one is the Black and Gold Game on April 17th, where we can actually see how these guys coach football. It's nice to see a skeptic creep into the believer category.

Of course there were CBJ/iCRC loyalists in the world out there.

Mike Organ of The Tennessean wrote an article interviewing several of them around the time the poll on here showed 85% of VU fans wanted iCRC gone. The Organ article misrepresented VU fans wishes badly. This was brought to the attention of the newspaper and the article was not even archived. It's gone from the newspaper website. But the point is that there were indeed a few who wanted a continuation of the status quo...even if the number was small.

And I have to agree with the "wtf could those people have been thinking?"
