Lance Goulbourne Suspended 2 Games by NCAA; Will Miss Marquette Game

Here's the story from VUCommodores.com. The 6'8 Junior sat out Vanderbilt's win over Middle Tennessee State last Tuesday, and will miss tonight's game against Marquette on ESPN2 tonight. Goulbourne will be available starting Sunday when the Commodores host Davidson. While Lance will be missed, the return of Andre Walker will certainly alleviate the pressure on Coach Stallings and the number of players he has available against a Marquette team who have only lost to quality opponents this season.

It is BS. And it sucks. Just like televised karaoke contests.

It comes down to Money. Newton and Prior make the NCAA too much money. Lance does not. It's completely ridiculous and in no way fair or just, but that's the way it is.
