The 16 Regional Hosts have been announced, and Nashville is not on the list. According to Baseball America's Aaron Fitt, Vanderbilt's best hope is to be the #1 seed in the Norwich, Connecticut Regional (UCONN Host). Given the hosts, if Vanderbilt is sent to the Nutmeg State, they appear poised to be shipped to either Louisville, Georgia Tech, TCU, and (worst case scenario) UVA.
At this point, all Commodore fans can do is wait. Per the VUCommodores Blog: "We'll find out on Monday when the complete field of 64, with regional pairings and site assignments, will be announced on ESPN at 11:30 a.m. CT. Fans are welcome to attend a viewing party with the team at the Commodore Grill in the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt on West End. Doors will open at 11 a.m."
