Sowers Released, Fuller Wins Player of the Year Award

My classmate and former 1st round selection Jeremy Sowers has apparently be released by the Indians according to FoxSports, http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/player/jeremy-sowers/news/376111.

They say he will head to the minors if he clears waivers but I can't imagine another team not jumping at the chance to get a good lefty prospect this late in the spring. While Sowers hasn't lived up to his potential yet, he is still very young (Pitchers like Quarterbacks often don't hit their prime till their late 20's early 30's in my opinion). I'd love to see my Mets pick him up as our entire pitching staff (with the exception of Santana) is horrendous.

Also Kyle Fuller, who I think is going to be VERY important to the basketball team's success next season was named HS Gametime Player of the Year. Whatever that means. Here's an article and the video that goes along with it. Good stuff.

Not sure what that means is right. Still makes me feel better about Jermaine leaving.

I suspect the anonymous commenter who loves American Idol will be thrilled about this turn of events.
