Patterson Declares for the Draft

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/basketball/ncaa/04/15/patterson.ap/index.html

Patterson will not hire an agent, which means he still may return to school if he doesn't like where he's at.

The IDEAL situation from our standpoint (and not necessarily the league's), is that both Meeks and Patterson bounce and Calathes stays in as well.  That would leave the door very wide open for us to surprise some of the pundits.

It's very unlikely that will happen.  Calathes and Meeks, from the accounts I have seen, are borderline first-to-second round picks.  I would not be surprised at all if both decide to return to their respective teams next year.  However, Patterson is a projected lottery pick and I can see him leaving more than anyone else.

Still, the possibility is there, and we Dores simply love possibilities.
