DJ Moore Joins Vanderbilt North

That makes five Vanderbilt players on one team in the NFL, which is either incredibly adept scouting, or incredibly poor decision making (depending on how you look at it).

With the 20th pick in the 4th round, after a massive slide, the Bears took DJ Moore off the board to join his fellow former Commies Jay Cutler, Hunter Hillenmeyer (graduated before DJ got there), Earl Bennett, and Chris Williams.

I don't know that that's ever happened before.

Does this mean that when I go to Bears games I'm supposed to wear seersucker and a bowtie whilst smuggling in flasks of whiskey?

Something sounds familiar.. incredible game-changing defense with a suspect, at times anemic offense. Let's hope the vandy grads can change that culture.

rumors were that the bears wanted Boldin...that would have been awesome for Cutler

George Smith has signed a rookie free-agent deal with......yup you guessed it the Chicago Bears. Also Rashard Langford has inked a deal with the Eagles. I doubt Smith makes the roster as he has not been able to stay healthy the past 2 years. Langford i think is in a good position especially since Brian Dawkins left as a free agent. Hopefuly he can play some special teams and work his way into the defense in a year or two.

The closest thing to this I can remember is the 2000-2001 Buccaneers, with four Commodores (Vance, Yoder, Duncan, Quarles). And now the Bears have George Smith, who signed as a free agent, but don't think he has much of a chance.
