I'm an idiot

Sorry (to the 3 people out there who enjoy my posts) for not putting anything up recently. Basically I couldn't figure out how to add a link to my post successfully so I wasn't posting anything because I was embarrassed. But now that I have figured out what I was doing wrong I'll get back to helping everyone procrastinate at work/school and what have you.

First of all SS Reshard Langford is somehow not getting invited to the NFL Combine which is redonkulous.

Second, all along I thought Darrius McMullin was going to decommit because he wanted to go to Florida or somewhere like that. It now appears he actually couldn't qualify academically. http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?category=PluckPersona&U=968e59871ae8406291a820b3cdb54eca&plckController=PersonaBlog&plckScript=personaScript&plckElementId=personaDest&plckPersonaPage=BlogViewPost&plckPostId=Blog%3a968e59871ae8406291a820b3cdb54ecaPost%3a9c7d6e89-bd64-4969-9402-6f417b358db7&sid=sitelife.tennessean.com
While this is disappointing for the football team, I'm happy that the university is sticking to its guns regarding letting student/athletes in.

Third. Big time recruit John Jenkins is one of 4 Tennessee boys up for McDonald's All American honors. http://www.tennessean.com/article/20090130/SPORTS07/90130077/-1/PREPSFACTORY.
This would be huge for Vandy recruiting and checking out his stat line I think he has a real good shot of making this team just because he is putting up insane numbers. http://www.highschoolsports.net/DisplayWidgets/playerBios.cfm?play_id=86242&ssrev=0&sc_id=TN37066100489&spt=2&lvl=1&div=1

Finally in case anyone missed halftime of the Super Bowl and wants to see The Boss teabag half the world here it is for your enjoyment. I know we watched it about a thousand times before the 2nd half started. http://www.thejetsblog.com/2009/02/02/boss-throws-his-junk-in-americas-face/

Oh one last thing. If you guys didn't know tomorrow is National Signing Day. Luckily I have no class till 6pm tomorrow so I'll be doing periodic updates while I watch ESPNU and constantly refresh VUCommodores.com (and attempt to write a "Complaint" for my Advanced Legal Writing class). The only guy we are really waiting on anymore is Wesley Tate, but should be a fun day no matter what.

Speaking of recruiting classes, ours (while our best in recent memory) is the worst (well, maybe slightly better than KY) in the SEC. Let's see how they perform and compare them to the classes of other SEC teams next year (and years following). It should be interesting to see what conclusions we come to.

Got two thus far with Mason Johnston and Brady Brown. CBJ is taking one out of the Wake Forest playbook and is getting a pipeline with Bolles School in Florida (Ryan Van Rensburg of last year's signing class is from there).

Brady Brown is a big possession receiver, we really can't get enough of those.
