I had heard the Vanderbilt/Ole Miss game would be available, via tape delay, Sunday afternoon at 1 pm central. The rumors are true. But get this, the game that "bumped" this SEC battle is none other than Elon at Georgia Southern. ARE YOU SERIOUS? That's the game that CSS would rather show? Let the EMail Jihad continue.
Tomorrow's game is, as we've said all week, is huge for the Commodores. With a preview of what to watch for, the Man We Love to Hait has a "What to Watch For" article in today's Nashville City Paper.
Mo Patton's got a story in today's Tennessean on D.J. Moore's focus on "[finishing] big plays." Despite having huge numbers, D.J. hasn't found the end zone yet this season. He's been close, and if Vanderbilt is going to improve to 4-0, Moore's ability to get in the end zone will go a long way.
Scott Cacciola has an article in the Memphis Commercial-Appeal on the impact of Vanderbilt's Memphis Linebacking Duo Chris Marve and John Stokes. This is a great article, and should certainly help Bobby's recruiting in the western part of the state.
Chris Low's Vanderbilt love-fest continues on ESPN.com, with a story that was posted yesterday about the Commodores speed on defense. Chris also has a "What to Watch For" story on ESPN.com.
The AP's article on tomorrow's game, penned by Chris Talbott, predictably highlights how both Vanderbilt and Ole Miss are much improved from year's past.

While somewhat a change of pace, Athlon has released a preview for this upcoming basketball season. Athlon has Vanderbilt finishing 4th with an NIT prediction for the season. Given all the young talent, I think it's hard to know just how good this team can be. Still, I know everyone on West End is hoping another trip to the dance is in the Commodores future.
Keep flooding the in-boxes of the various outlets that decided not to show the Vanderbilt game live, if nothing else, they'll know there is such thing as a rabid Vanderbilt fan.
