The Man We Love to Hait is reporting in today's Nashville City Paper that senior running back Jeff Jennings is unlikely to play Thursday against the South Carolina due to a shoulder injury suffered at Miami (OH). While no one wants to see a player suffer an injury, this will be a good opportunity to see just what Jared Hawkins and Gaston Miller can do when more prominently featured in the running attack.
Brett's got some other quality nuggets in this story including a discussion of Myron Lewis, and how Vanderbilt will look to pressure South Carolina's quarterback as often as possible. Brett's also got an "Around the SEC" piece highlighting Spurrier's decision to start Chris Smelley.
Congratulations to Chris Nickson, who was named the SEC's Offensive Player of the Week. Mo Patton's got the story in today's Tennessean.
For those attending the game, be sure and note the change in the traffic pattern after home games. For details, check out Mo's article in today's Tennessean.
Remember, Thursday's game is a "Black Out," so come prepared.
With that, Bobby, OUT.

And don't forget to check out this article in yesterday's USA Today, giving Vanderbilt some quality ink as the pride of the SEC.
