Kevin Stallings is Mr. Happy Fun Guy...

According to a piece set to appear in Wednesday's Nashville City Paper, Stallings finally sees happy.

This is a great piece and goes to show, among other things, that the Guru really does know what he's doing. Kevin Stallings is building a great program at Vanderbilt, and based on the 55 million dollar expansion announced in May, he's going to have even more resources to work with.

NOTE: Not to take anything anyway from the Celtics and their win, but the Lakers should be completely embarrassed at tonight's performance. The only thing worse was Kevin Garnett's post-game interview with Michelle Tafoya. I was honestly concerned his head might explode on national television. That's 2 minutes of my life I'm never going to get back. Apparently, "top of the world" feels like a scene out of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Where's Joe Namath when you need him?

Here's a topic for conversation: Why does Brett Hait have to end every freaking article with a question? I struggle to think of a more hackneyed bit.

Let me end your struggle. He could end them with a pun, i.e. "With a top recruiting class coming in, he'll be the only part of the basketball program that's Stallings.

I know this is no surprise whatsoever, but Lunardi once again predicts us not to be in the field of 65 next year.

Words can't describe how much I despise that man.

Andrew -- that's fantastic.

Part of me understands why we wouldn't be picked by Lunardi for the Tourney since we lost pretty much our entire team besides Croc and Beal. But other teams who lost a ton of people Memphis, Puke Orange are still considered top 25 teams because of their great recruiting classes. Why isn't Vandy's stellar class along with AJ enough to warrant us at least a mention as a bubble team?

That's my question. Not even a bubble team? With a top 15 recruiting class?

Memphis is losing tons and Puke Orange loses some people too and Memphis gets a number one seed.

Not that Lunardi's opinion matters. He and Doug Gottlieb make me want to vomit in my mouth.

Anyone who is knocking out a bracket this early in the game must have the IQ of cement.

Well that goes without saying...
