Help Our Man Out

Shan Foster is currently a finalist for the Lowes Senior Class Award. Somehow, he is 3rd in the voting behind Chris Lofton and DeMarcus Nelson of Duke, and tied with Utah State's Jaycee Carroll. NO ONE is more deserving of this award, as such this is a VSL Nation call to arms. We need you to vote for Shan to give him the hardware he deserves. It goes without saying, but certainly don't vote for Lofton, Nelson, Carroll, or Roy Hibert (because he goes to Georgetown and therefore is a traveling cheater).

As they say in Chicago, vote early and often. If Shan doesn't pull away from Carroll by the end of the day, then I'm going to blame some of the people in this room...and that I cannot forgive.

Vote for Shan
...and contribute to the NCC.

Bobby, OUT

Looks like someone is paying attention to the year Shan Foster is having. Check out what SI has to say...

DCV, that's actually a point i was thinking about bringing up last night. i dont know much about all-american voting, but does Shan at least have a shot at first team? clearly, my vandy homerism says obviously he should, but frankly i'm not familiar enough with the rest of the ncaa at his position to make an educated assertion.

Sweet Christ, just voted for The Truf, and he's sitting at 8% with Lofton and (has anyone been watching basketball this year) DeMarcus Nelson at 31% apiece. Nelson isn't the best player on his team. Nelson isn't the second best player on his team. Watch him get Duke'd into the first round of the draft, though, and suck as much as Shane Battier... no, William Avery. The Truf is clearly the best player in college basketball who isn't a freshman. I'll give it up to Beasley and Derrick Rose... but Shan's got to be three. Bah.

You can vote more than once per day if you have multiple browsers or multiple PCs.

It'd be a shame if Shan lost to Lofton. Outplays him on and off the court.
