New Polls Released: Commodores Drop, but Not Out

Despite "the sky is falling" sentiment that has recently over-run VSL Nation, Vanderbilt is still ranked 19 in AP and 18 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. What's interesting to me is the SEC starting to get some love. The SEC now has 4 teams in the AP Top 25 and 5 in the Coaches. If you were buying stock in SEC you'd have to say Florida and Mississippi State are "buys," UT is a "hold," and Vanderbilt and Ole Miss are "sells." The bears face off on Wednesday in Oxford (not televised, which is just astonishing to me) in a game that both teams need if they don't risk dropping out of the Top 25 come this time next Monday.
