As of last nights games, the Commies Men's team vaulted to the top of the Ken Pomeroy's RPI rankings, jumping Miami (FL) and St. Mary's. Ken updates his rankings much faster then ESPN.com (who still has the Commies at No. 3).
As far as I know, both index rankings are computed the same, so once ESPN.com updates theirs, the Commies will also sit atop ESPN's list.
Ken also tracks some stats such as offensive efficiency, tempo, and possessions that aren't readily found on ESPN.
Knock yourself out.

is it just me or does anyone else love the fact that kentucky has the worst record in the SEC?
i hate blue
I don't know about that. Kentucky being good is generally good for the SEC and by extension good for Vanderbilt.
I love beating UK in basketball but that doesn't mean I want them to have a bad season other than the two or three games we play against them. I generally reserve that kind of hatred for certain vomit-colored teams from the East Tennessee region.
And for Alabama.
Vandy is #18 on realtimerpi's Team power Ratings, a more realistic assessment:

that kind of hatred is also given to UT, but UK, in my book, is right beside them.
when most of your family has gone to school in kentucky and has to live w/ it every day you understand how bad the fan are
Jo Lunardi has us as a 5 seed. It's a little early, but at least we're freaking on there.

We have GOT to decrease our turnovers. We got way out of control in the second half of the TSU game.

Also, rivals.com has Shan Foster at #2 in its shooting guards' power rankings. Ogilvy is #5 at center. That will be all.
