If Rod Delmonico isn't hoser of the week, I don't think the award should be given out. The man who thinks he has no in-state rivals is an impressive 4-11 against Corbin.

Great call Will...and supported by facts, something we aren't all the used to. Here's the link

Ryan "Ready To Rumble" Baldwin, Alex "Underhand Smoke" Sisserson and Stanimal for nearly getting into a dozen fights at Mille & Al's on Friday night.

Good one Marty!

I'll wait until Sunday and then I'm picking Matt Millen. This weekend always sucks for him.

can i go ahead and vote for Dan Snyder...there is no doubt in my mind he'll make a dumb choice on Draft Day.

I think Stanimal's Matt Millen call is dead on assuming it's not Al Davis for taking Calvin Johnson.

The ironic thing is that Calvin Johnson is by far the safest pick in the draft, assuming he suffers no career-ending injury.

While that might be true (and I happen to think he is), neither the Raiders nor the Lions need a wide receiver. If I were the Lions, I'd try and trade down with the Bucs and get another pick or two on day one out of Gruden. Of course, this is an obvious point and idea...so I am nominating myself for Hoser of Week. Watch out guys, there could be a groundswell.

Why wouldn't the Lions pick up another WR...I mean it's what they do.

With this draft, who knows what's going to happen. Anybody who tells you they know how it will play out is lying.

Have you ever heard so many rumors about wanting to trade out of a pick as you have this year? While I have no basis for this since I don't know any NFL GMs, I would think there's two issues that are floating around in their heads:

1. Contracts for high picks have been steadily rising for years

2. Paying a lot of money for a player that busts can absolutely demolish your ability to improve in other areas since it eats up your salary cap.

Despite the buzz and hype that's associated with this draft, I really don't feel as though the talent level here is just ludicrous. That's why I think a lot of people are looking to trade out of those top picks and they are having a tough time finding buyers.

And I'm not even going to begin to predict how ANY of them will do in the pros, because there's just way too many variables associated with how their performance will play out (except for safety, linebacker, and O-line, who I feel are the only real safe picks in any draft.)

The problem with nominating Snyder is that the Redskins never have enough draft picks for him to really screw up because he ends up giving the picks up as compensation for trades and free agents.

isn't that screwing up? like i mean the Sanders off season move a few years ago panned out, and clearly Mark B, Randell El and the gang are knocking out playoff wins left and right. well they are buying real estate left and right with the huge paychecks Dan signs for them
