Vanderbilt Advances to San Juan Final...

Vanderbilt defeated Tennessee Tech 75-62 to reach the finals of the San Juan Shootout, where the Commies will face the winner of the Appy State, Central Florida game. Vanderbilt played solid defense throughout the game, holding Tennessee State to 39% from the floor. While Tech's top three scorers all reached double digits, none of the three were as explosive as they have been in the past.

While a win is a win, Vanderbilt certainly has things to work on as they look ahead to the finals. Out rebounded 36-31, Vanderbilt's inability to control the boards has the potential to be a serious liability as the season progresses. Also, Ross Neltner turned in a terrible performance, playing only 9 minutes before fouling out. Neltner needs to be on the floor for this team to be successful. If Ross continues to get into foul trouble, I am not confident that Skuchas or a healthy Metcalfe will be able to pick up the slack.

Can't you figure out how to arrive by a name without stealing it from a Rivals site?
